Very unique paper yarn made from linen. For an additonal strength, a few strands of almost invisible raw silk is wrapped around it. It dyes beautifully. (raw silk will dye slightly differently from the linen paper) . Works as a warp yarn for weavers. The yarn is completely washable! Will not go naked in rain if you are worried about that...
Composition: 100% linen with a few strands of raw silk wrapped around it
Weight and yardage: 1 skein is approx 3 oz (85g) and 936 yards (856 metres)
Needles: 2.25mm (1 US) - 3.25mm (3 US)
