Inspired by the spectacular birds that live and play inside the Bargello sculpture museum of Florence, this versatile kerchief combines old-school glamour with the most contemporary and sophisticated fiber. Simple knit and purl stitches create the 3-dimensional bird motifs incorporated in the scarf. A subtle miter gives the piece wonderful shaping, making it a delight to knit and wear.
Materials
- Alchemy Yarns Synchronicity (50% silk, 50% wool; 118yds/50g): 2 skeins
- 5 mm (US Size 8) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
- 6 mm (US Size G) crochet hook
