Darning wool from Renaissance Dyeing in France. This wonderful quality thread of 24/2 worsted, 100% pure lambswool has exceptional handle and strength making it suitable for darning, knitting and embroidery.

The range of over 100 colours is phenomenal as all the dyes are natural plant based dyes using materials such as madder, woad, indigo, weld and fustic. The different pigments in each dye produce many hued living colours, not found with chemical dyes.

Each twist of yarn has 25 metres. Each dye lot, after being naturally dyed and washed, is wound into 25m length twists and labelled by hand
